He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Letha; his siblings, Bobby John, Barbara Terrell Roberts and Margaret Terrell Fain; and his nephew Gary Fain.

He is survived by: his wife Cleta Mae Jameson Terrell; his children, Elaine Terrell (Foster Vertrees) of Prairie Grove, John Terrell of Fort Smith, Mary Terrell of Prairie Grove and Sarah Stover (Burt) of Pocola Oklahoma; his grandsons, Jared Stover of Fayetteville and Jack Stover of Fort Smith; his brothers, Gary and Raymond Terrell; and his brother-in-law Pete Roberts. He is also survived by two nieces, five nephews and several great, and great-great nieces and nephews.
