He is survived by: his wife Faye; his children, Carol Hooten (Alan Gilbert) of Minneapolis, MN, Chrys Boyd (Glen) of Sugarland, TX, Timothy Hooten (Mary Jo) of Quitman, AR, Sheila Hooten of Canyon Lake, TX, Reggie Hooten (Barb) of Fargo, ND, Gwen Slater (John) of Watkins, CO, Terra Fidone (George) of Lufkin, TX, Greg Hooten (Gwen) of Guy, AR, Regina Keshvari (Keivan) of Austin, TX, Terry Hooten (Amy) of Plant City, FL, Melisa Le (Tri) of New Braunfels, TX, Nick Hooten of League City, TX and Chandra Hooten of Canyon Lake, TX; and his brother Curtis Burgess (Martha). He is also survived by thirty-two grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren.
