She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Rummel and Goldie Rummel; her daughter Tina Marie; her brother Charles "Bill" Rummel; and her grandson Landon Smith.
She is survived by: her husband William H. "Sonny" Mitchell; her children, Deborah Smith (Max), William A. "Tony" Mitchell (Wendy) and Rita James (Wesley); her grandchildren, Candace Arterbury, Krystle Hooten, Kenny James, Michelle Ross, Leah Smith and Mitchell James; and her brothers, Donald, Larry, Jerry and Richard Rummel. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
