She was predeceased by: her parents, Sammy Houston and Mayetta Watters (Smith); and her sister Betty Mae Watters. She is survived by: her husband Danny Melugin; her son Tony Melugin (Tammy) of Bismarck; and her siblings, Sammy David Watters (Doreen) of Mt. Ida and Patricia Kirksey of Gurdon. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and a nine great-grandchildren.
