He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Hulsey and Patsy Griffin Hulsey; his son James Hulsey, Jr.; his brothers, Johnny Joe Hulsey, Cecil Hulsey, Sr., Paul Hulsey and David Hulsey, Sr.; and his nephews, Clarence Hulsey and Dalton Loyd.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Hulsey (Kristen) of Okolona, AR, Patricia Hulsey of Blevins, AR, Travis Keenom of Okolona, AR, Bradley McDougal (Courtney) of Arkadelphia, AR and Miranda Hulsey of Salem, IL; and his close friends, Walter Dixon, Tim Leeper, Ricky Howell and Glen Dixon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
