With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Ruth Stephens of Gurdon, Arkansas, who passed away on December 9, 2023 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Brown and Tennie Scott; her husband Lamont Stephens; her son Sterling Stephens; and her siblings, Paul Brown, Mildred Jones and Sarah Stephens.
She is survived by: her daughters, Regina Collins and Cynthia Gibson (James); her grandchildren, Christina Rhodes (Michael), Kaye Hill (Tracey), Donald Dickson (Jen), Brad Dickson (Molly), Tammy Bryant (John) and Erica Cox (Forrest); and her sisters, Jean Bell of Arlington, VA and Muriel Hasley of Arkadelphia, AR. She is also survived by twenty-one great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren.
