She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Stauffer and Anna Dodgen Stauffer; her husband Mickey Dempsey; and her son Michael E. Dempsey. She is survived by: her children, David Dempsey (Tamara) of Gurdon, Rhonda Shepherd (Gary) of Arkadelphia and Denise Freeman of Arkadelphia. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
