He was predeceased by: his parents, David Dewitt and Mary Ulmer Sanders; his wife Bessie Lular Brown Sanders; and his daughter Jean Jenkins. He is survived by: his sons, David Sanders (Mary) of Gurdon, Eddie Sanders (Tammy) of Gurdon, Charles Sanders (Joyce) of Gurdon, Jimmy Sanders (Katie) of Arkadelphia, Michael Sanders of Arkadelphia and Dennis Butler (Mary) of Texas; and his brothers, John Matthews of Tallulah, LA and Billy Matthews of Tallulah, LA. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia.
