It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vonnie Sutherland (Grubbs, Arkansas), born in Waldenburg, Arkansas, who passed away on February 16, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry Owen and Zadie Bird Smith (Phariss); her grandsons, Dion Sutherland (Maggy) and Chad Sutherland; her sister Mazel Prince; her great grandchildren, Tyler (Kristy), Sam (Summer) and Sydney; her great great grandchild Mila Joe; and her close friends, Ruth McElrath, Sylvia Parker and Jessie Mae Phillips. She was also cherished by her husband, sons, and grandsons.
