With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Nelson (Greers Ferry, Arkansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Mary farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mary is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Stone and Mildred Stone (Dollar); and her siblings, Dewey Lee Stone, Barbara Stone and Carolyn Stone Phillips Wallis.
She is survived by: her husband Dwain Nelson; her children, Randall Dwain Nelson of Cane Hill and Jeanie Whitehurst; and her sister-in-law Linda Stone.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lone Star Baptist Church (350 Lone Star Lane, Greers Ferry, AR 72067). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
