He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Powhatan Cobbs and Minnie Bush Turner Cobbs; his wife Geneva McCollum; and his siblings, O'Neal Turner, Clifford Turner of Boyd Cobbs, R. P, Clyde Cobbs, Charles Cobbs, Applerine Finley and Ruth Turner.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pam and Joyce; his grandchildren, Ron (Elizabeth), Jennifer (Jason) and Kelly (Nathan); and his great grandchildren, Brianna, Jathan, Bentley, Michael, Bradley, James, Riley and Everest. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
