We are sad to announce that on September 23, 2021, at the age of 92, Winford Harold Thames of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin W. Thames and Ruth Tankersley Thames; his wife Nancy Maness Thames; his brother Donald L. Thames; his daughter Sharon Williams; his grandson Aaron Gamble; and his great grandchild Landry Gamble.

He is survived by: his children, Dan Thames (Lisa) of Greenwood, Kenny Thames (Stacy) of Greenwood and Laurie Young (Don) of Greenwood; his siblings, Jim Thames of Rogers, AR, Chuck Thames (Maureen) of Greenwood and Ruth Ann Dearness of Owensboro, KY; and his grandchildren, Brian Williams (Sarah), Tara Gamble, Derek Williams (Leah), Brad Thames, Don Thames (Emily), Anthony Turner (Lauren), Kayla Smith (Hayden), Hunter Johnson, Lindsay Ryan Rachel (Eric), Seth Woodhull (Brenna), Caleb Young, Toby Brasher, Hayden Smith, Chris Turner and Eric Ryan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
