Wayne Douglas Henson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2023, at the age of 70, Wayne Douglas Henson of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William D. Henson and Bernice L. Henson; his siblings, William "Bug" Henson, Charles Henson, Brenda Kay Rogers and Jackie Fimple; and his nephew Dawton Wayne Henson.

He is survived by: his pet Dozer; his wife Shelly Henson; his daughters, Brandy Franklin, Jill Rogers, Billie Henson, Whitley Velasquez and Haley Brown; his grandchildren, Tyler Trozzi, Mikayleigh Davis, Gracie Davis, Brayedan Davis, Drayke Henson, Jake Rogers, Jillian Rogers, Jack Rogers and Avery Velasquez; his great grandchild Karter James Trozzi; and his sister Connie Henson. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research to help continue his fight.
