He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Martin (Pepper) and Hazel Martin; his brother William Martin (Bill); and his brother-in-law Floyd Carlton. He is survived by: his sister Pat Carlton of Fort Smith; his nephews, Galen Martin of Fort Smith, Todd R Carlton (Laurie) of Lavaca and Jason Martin (Glulia) of Springfield; his great-nephews, Cade R. Carlton and Shane Guzman of Lavaca; and his sister-in-law Kathy Martin.
He was also a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Witcherville, VFW in Huntington and labor union 360 as well as the Razorback Foundation.
