It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rufus Bernard Escalante of Greenwood, Arkansas, who passed away on December 14, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Escalante and Elizabeth Escalante (Hall); his wife Belva Jean Bull; and his siblings, Matthew, William, Donnie, Virginia, Lois and Josie.
He is survived by: his children, Stan (Cindie) of Greenwood, AR, Steve (Jill) of Conroe, TX and Melinda Pettie of Arkadelphia, AR; his siblings, Marion and Edna; his grandchildren, Brandi Street (Nathan), Lyndi Greenwich (Jason), Ashlyn Escalante, Luke Escalante (Kiley), Nick Elliott (Chantal) and Chris Pettie; and his great grandchildren, Jake, Julia, Josh, Gavin, Sabay, Sofia, Eminence and Adelaide. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
Due to few family health issues and the Covid-19 pandemic, there will be a small, private family burial.
