He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Asa and Cora Strozier (Williams); his siblings, Harvey, Hoot, Buddy, Helen and Georgie; and his daughter Karren Howard.

He is survived by: his wife Kay Strozier; and his children, Rebecca McCall (late Rusty) of Hackett, Sandy Magnani (Scott) of Hartford, Reuben Allen Strozier (Angela) of Greenwood, Sylvia Tucker of Greenwood, Elygenia Campbell (Richie) of Hartford, Kenneth Burris (Eva) of Greenwood and Mylissia Haskins (James) of Hot Springs. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, forty-three great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
