She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wood and Nettie Wood (Gross); and her husband Elmer Simpson. She is survived by: her daughters, Scherry Davis (Russell) of Muldrow, OK, Cynthia Simpson of Fort Smith, Debra Reed (Rodney) of Lowell, AR and Sheila Duplessis (Eddie) of Greenwood; and her siblings, Carolyn Williams of Fort Smith, Linda Hicks of Chester, AR, Charles Wood Jr. of Barling, AR and Bobby Wood of Chester, AR. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
