With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merle Loftis of Greenwood, Arkansas, who passed away on December 31, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Sue Loftis; his son Larry Loftis; and his brother Noel Loftis. He is survived by: his daughters, Debra James of Greenwood, Linda Darlene Loftis of Fort Smith and Denise Hackney of Fort Smith; and his siblings, Leslie Loftis of Louisiana, Nellie Henderson (Dub) of Prattsville, AR, Lenora Bennings (Poodle) of Prattsville, AR and Barbara Walters (Doug) of Sheridan, Arkansas. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
