He was predeceased by: his son Darrel Ray Hindmarsh; and his parents, Darrell "Bud" Hindmarsh and Ruth Hindmarsh (Simmons). He is survived by: his brothers, David Hindmarsh (Anita) of Fort Smith and John Hindmarsh (Becky) of Van Buren; his daughter-in-law Sharon Hindmarsh of Ellijay, GA; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Scroggins of Fort Smith and Carol Sue Scroggins of Fort Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and great nephews.
