It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerry Don Vaughn of Greenwood, Arkansas, born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, who passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Robert, Mary Jean Vaughn, Sandy, Mary Elaine Eatmon, A. J. and Bertha Mae McClain; his brothers, Thomas and Erick Joe McClain; and his father-in-law Charlie Carter.

He is survived by: his parents, Deborah Vaughn and Bobby Vaughn of Pocola; his wife Amber Vaughn; his children, Charlie, Veronica Vaughn of Fort Smith, Kendall and Luke Vaughn of Fort Smith; his aunt Regenia Mayo; his uncles, Marvin Vaughn, Billy Eatmon, Terry Eatmon, Jerry Don McClain, Danny McClain and Bill McClain; his siblings, Wanda Gibbs McClain, Travis Vaughn (Machelle) of Pocola, Derek McClain (Ashli) of Jenny Lind and Johnny McClain of Jenny Lind; his mother-in-law Pam Carter of Jenny Lind; and his siblings-in-law, Zach Carter (Misty) and Suzie McClain of Jenny Lind. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
