He is survived by: his wife Sharon Woodruff; his children, David Woodruff (Pam), Chris Woodruff, Pam Thompson and Joni Cox (Randy); his sisters, Jeanne Lairamore and Faye Rice (Richard); and his grandchildren, Georgia, Amy, Allison, Lindsay, Molly, Haley, Lexie, Lisa and Chestin. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
