He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cullen and Pauline Katherine Wasson (Crane); his wife Judy Wasson; and his siblings, George C. Wasson and Joyce Ann Williams.

He is survived by: his children, Rod Wasson of Greenwood, Jeff Wasson of Alma and Kim Shipley (Eddie) of Greenwood; and his grandchildren, Ty Wasson, Kolby Wasson, McKenzie Cannon, Matthew Cook, Jeff Wasson, II, Mandy Weller, Logan Shipley and Scott Shipley. He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren.
