He was predeceased by: his daughter Tayler Barnes; his parents, A. C. Barnes and Retha Barnes; and his brother Alfred Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Barnes; his sons, Ace Barnes (Keri) of Mount Pleasant, TX and Trevor Barnes; his sisters, Sharon White (Vernon) of Greenwood, Saundra Harris (Tom) of Hartford and Shirley Callahan (Mark) of Hartford; and his grandchildren, Mattie and Case.
