He is survived by: his children, Reba Luthena, Emma Charlene, Jimmy Donald (Jay), Katherine (Kat), Boyd Ray and Idus Marion; his siblings, Emma Charlene Kelly and Idus Marion Gipson; his children, Charles Blake Gipson, Suzanne Sortman (Vince Sortman), Sara Elizabeth Behrle (Tom Behrle) and Melissa Ruth Higgins; and his grandchildren, Brandon Sortman, Nathan Sortman, Kristen Sortman, Alexandra Hensley, Courtney Pelosini, Denton Asdourian and Katherine Asdourian. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
