She was predeceased by: her daughter Tammy Kay Rooney; her parents, Otis Yancey and Madge Yancey; and her son-in-law Calvin Jones III. She is survived by: her husband Bill Gray; her children, James Rooney (Amelia) of Guy, AR, Rebecca Jones of Milan, TN, Terrie Strain (Jason) of Quitman, AR and Steve Rooney (Sarah) of Snowball, AR; her grandchildren, Daniel Strain (Lesley) of Quitman, AR, Ethan Rooney (Laura) of Marshall, AR, Savanna Jones of Milan, TN, Grace, Alyson Rooney of Guy, AR, Calvin "CJ" Jones IV of Milan, TN and Emma Rooney of Marshall, AR; her great grandchildren, Kasey, Lacey Strain, Addilyn Lovett, Bo Glover and Bristol Rooney; and her sisters, Annetta Holmes (Gayle) of Sherwood, AR and Peggy Williams (Wendell) of Vilonia, AR.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church (448 AR-25, Guy, AR 72061). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family ask to make a donation to the Mt. Olive Senior Saints.
