She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Merritt and Avanelle Merritt; her brother Rodney M. Merritt; and her children, Sheila Abbott Wilson and Robert Shannon Hild.
She is survived by: her significant other Robert Hild; her brother A. Keith Merritt (Sherry) of Conway; and her grandchildren, Brianna Sultana Hild (Peyton Fletcher) of Greenbrier and Robert Junior Hild of Conway. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family, lifelong friends and her church family.
