He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Mathis and Jean Mathis (Williams); his wife Brenda Mathis; and his brothers, Steve Mathis and Jerry Mathis.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary Mathis of Springdale, AR, Ricky Mathis (Jessica Williams) of Denver, AR, Michael Mathis (Meghan) of Farmington, AR and Kevin Mathis of Fayetteville, TN.; his grandchildren, Rikki Lynn Miller (Blake), Brandon Milam (Shi), Donovan Parker and Austin Mathis (Alex); and his sister Sherrilyn Henry of Harrison.
