He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Claypool and Thelma Claypool; and his daughter Sharon Vanhoose. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Butterbaugh Claypool; his daughter Shirley (Gary Messman); and his grandchildren, Laurie, Jeff Crawford of Austin, Tex, Mike, Kim Vanhoose of Ashville, N. C., Mitchell and Brittney Vanhoose of Nashville, Tenn.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousin and good friends.
