He was predeceased by: his parents, H. E. Tanner and Nola Tanner; his wife Lu Ann Tanner; his brothers, Robert Tanner, Jerry Tanner and Danny Tanner; and his niece Lisa Massengale.
He is survived by: his sister Hilda Stauffer; his sons, Eric (Lynn Tanner), Kenneth (Sherri Tanner), Jody Tanner, Danny (Dawn Tanner) and Greg (Yvonne McConnell); his nieces and nephews, Robert (Stephanie Tanner), Brent Tanner, Marty Tanner, Stuart (Tammy Tanner), Chris Stauffer, Tracy Peoples, Charlyn Tanner, Angela (Steve Arellano), Debbie (Frank Marr), Danielle Stauffer and Kerry Crawford; and his grandchildren, Jessica (Kevin Talley) of Harrison, Raymond Tanner of Harrison, Telisha Malotte of Green Forest, Uriah Tanner of Green Forest, Brendon (Dedra McConnell) of Green Forest, Stephanie (Michael Griffith) of Green Forest, Jody Tanner, Jr. of Harrison, Tyler Tanner of Green Forest, Alyssa Jones of Harrison and Olivia (Dalton Gilley) of Franklin. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
