He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Wininger and Shirley Eichor; his son David Allen Wininger Jr.; his stepson Justin Farrar; and his grandparents, Claude and Jean Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Tracy Kimm Matlock Wininger; his son Daniel Wininger (Rachel) of California, Missouri; his stepchildren, Joshua Farrar (Kimberly Gibson) and Hollie Sherwood of Eldridge, Iowa; his grandchildren, David, Isaiah, Isaac and Lilly Wininger; his stepgrandchildren, Colton, Hunter Farrar, Ryan, Kyle Sanders, Arianna and Skylar Farrar; his siblings, Twila Heitman (Hal) of Menifee, California and Darrell Wininger; and his former wife Lois Fares of Centertown, Missouri.
