He was predeceased by: his wife Beatrice Welty; and his children, Glenn Franklin Welty, Clinton Eugene Welty, Jay Royce Welty and Christy Ann Nichols.
He is survived by: his son Vincent Welty (Deborah) of Gravette; his grandchildren, Desiree Nicole Welty, Joshua Tyler Welty, Quentin Nichols, Rose Welty and James Welty; and his sister Rita Haynes.
