Catrina Dawn Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2025, at the age of 42, Catrina Dawn Smith of Gravette, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Larry D Bales; her grandparents, Ruth Martin, Louise Grandstaff and Buck Grandstaff; and her niece Whitley Bales.

She is survived by: her mother Velma L Grandstaff of Winona; her husband JD Smith of Gravette; her son Logan Smith of Gravette; her siblings, Sabrina Reese (Mike Reese) of Mountain View, Missouri and Chris Bales (Misty) of Birch Tree, Missouri; her parents-in-law, Gary and Kathy Smith of Bella Vista; her sister Jana; her brother-in-law Tom Chilton of Gravette; her nieces and nephews, Abigail of Fayetteville, Noah, Amber of Mountain View, Hunter of Winona, Kaylan, Laney, Allie and Jaci of Gravette; her great-nieces, Mavis, Iris, Alice and Olivia; her great-nephew Wesley; and her aunts and uncles, Barb Cowen (Kenny), Teresa Grandstaff, Richard, Nikki Grandstaff and John Howard Grandstaff.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Berean Ministries (301 Birmingham St SE, Gravette, AR 72736). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the Bethel Cemetery.
