He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Rupe and Estelle Rupe (Rhyne); his parents-in-law, Norman Mitchell and Grace Mitchell-Brasher; and his grandparents, Lewis, Lois Rupe, Hoyle and Lillie Rhyne.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Rupe; his children, Teresa Bourns (Jeff) of Atkins, Arkansas and David Rupe (Sheilah) of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Autumn, Isaac Disney, Alyssa, Corbin Rupe, Silas, Lauren, Cale Bourns, Jackson and Collins Cornwell; his great grandchildren, Emmitt and Eloise Disney; his brother K. C. Rupe (Dee) of Korea; his uncle Stan Rhyne (Rita) of Waldron, Arkansas; his aunt Betty Edwards of Iowa; and his friends, Joel Hogue (Leslie) of Atkins and Michael Pickens of Harvey, Arkansas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, neighbors.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Martin Funeral & Cremation Chapel (101 W 4th, Waldron, AR 72958). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Gravelly Methodist Church (18839 Young Gravelly Rd, Gravelly, AR 72838).
