He was predeceased by: his parent L. V. Thompson; and his brother Gary Don Thompson. He is survived by: his mother Norma Bodie Thompson; his wife Rebecca Anne Chappell Thompson of Grapevine; his daughter Ashley Freeman of Grapevine; his siblings, Virgil Thompson (June) and Teresa Higginbotham (Mike); his sister-in-law Cheryl Thompson of Texas; and his grandchildren, Addy Caldwell (Bailey), Preslie Phillips and Canyan Freeman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
