He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Ruth and Selma Dorn Ruth; his siblings, Thomas Ruth, Joe Ruth, Leroy Ruth, Lillie Ruth, Queen Ruth and Theodore Ruth; his son James Cooper; and his grandchild Kayveon Warren.
He is survived by: his children, Erwin Ruth of Carthage, Edward Ruth of Sheridan and Shana Campbell of Grapevine; and his grandson Evan Ruth. He is also survived by 3 brother; 2 sisters; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many friends.
