He is survived by : his daughter Christine Simmons-Spute (Jesse) of Chesapeake, VA; his grandchildren, Jessica Pedersen, Ashley Williams and Justin Spute; his great grandchildren, Willow Pedersen, Rowan Pedersen, Arden Spute and Olivia Williams; his brothers, Winston and Pete Simmons; and sister, Joyce Simmons. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
