He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Alvin and Arcie McCraw (Haynie); and his siblings, James Walter McCraw, Mary Ellen Blood and Frances Lucille Cregger.
He is survived by: his children, Johnny McCraw, III, Rickey McCraw, I, James McCraw, Sr. and Angela Montgomery; and his siblings, Anna Marie Bimbleby, Louise Howell, Rosalie Singleton, Edna Mae Kelley and William McCraw. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as a host of extended family and friends.
