It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Lavern Jones of Gosnell, Arkansas, who passed away on January 18, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Ermma Jones Morris. He is survived by: his father Alex Jones; his wife Gloria Jones of Gosnell, AR; his children, Larry Jones Jr. of Gosnell, AR and Khia A. Jones of Blytheville, AR; his siblings, Donald Jones of Florida, Calvin Jones of Florida, Cindy Copeland of Monticello, FL, Cassandra Plummer of Monticello, FL, Valerie Walker of Tallahassee, FL, Jennifer Plummer of Tallahassee, FL and Bernadine Harris of Atlanta, GA; and his mother-in-law Beatrice Haywood Riley. He is also survived by one grandchild: as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (1020 S Division St, Blytheville, AR 72315). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
