He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgle Neal Thompson and Sallie Leona Abbott Thompson; and his sons, Randy Thompson and Eldon Wayne Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Margie Nilene Thompson of Glenwood; his son Gary Thompson of Bearden; his stepchildren, Ricky Wilson (Misty) of Glenwood, Robert Matt Cochran of Conway and Theresa Gonzalez (Jerry) of Tulsa, OK; his daughter-in-law Wendy Thompson of Holly Springs; and his sister Janie Erwin of Camden. He is also survived by twenty one grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren.
