She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Cowart and Ada Brewer Cowart; her husband Harlon Duren; and her brothers, Ocie Cowart (Evelyn), Kennith Cowart (Jane) and Sonny Cowart (Carolyn).
She is survived by: her children, Keith, Diane Duren of Hollywood and Lisa Duren of Kirby; her grandsons, Wes Duren (Aeryn) of Bismarck and Cliff Duren (Sarah) of Ft. Smith; her great grandchild Amelia Duren (Mia); her sister Marie Hall (Murtress) of Huntington, Indiana; and her friends, Janelle Fant, Lana Turner and Kelly Dodson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Home - Glenwood (209 N 3rd St, Glenwood, AR 71943). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at the Bear Creek Cemetery.
