He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmas Elmo Burton and Evelyn Mary Emory Burton; his sons, Rickey Burton and Phillip Burton; and his siblings, Frank Burton and Corine Hall.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Burton of Point Cedar; his children, Rhonda Jackson (Jim) of Bismarck, Phyllis Nunn (Steve) of Arkadelphia and Darie Burton (Becky) of Pearcy; and his sister Kathleen King of Bismarck. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Philippi Church of Christ Cemetery Fund account at any Chambers Bank.
