It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene Burgess (Glenwood, Arkansas), born in Haworth, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 14, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Hudgins and Clyda Vernetta Hankins Hudgins; her husband Doyle Burgess; and her siblings, Ezra Hudgins, Mark Hudgins, Ruth Hawkins, Elsie Presley and Doris Kirkland.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Linville of Glenwood and Kim of Glenwood; her son-in-law Bryan McCormick of Glenwood; her son Keith; her daughter-in-law Sue Burgess of Bonnerdale; her grandchildren, Joe Bates, Josh Bates and Shena Thew (Eli Burgess); her great grandchildren, Mariah, Halee Bates, Braelynne, Baylor Bates, Jordan, Lexi Bates, Addison Thew and Brinlee Bean; her granddaughter Trina Bates; her sister-in-law Elsie White of Glenwood; and her grandsons, Steve Bates, Brandon Bean, Jordan Bates and Eli Burgess. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
