He is survived by: his wife Wanda Vermeer of Glenwood; his children, Robin, Greg Bobo of Hope, Brian, Gayle Vermeer of Ashdown, Michelle, Robert Garner of Surprise and Jeanette Smith of Russellville; and his siblings, David Vermeer of Sterling, Neb and Mavis Brinkman of Lincoln, Neb. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
