It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Eugene Parton (Glenwood, Arkansas), who passed away on March 18, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bivens James Parton and Carrie Mattie Stroope Parton; and his siblings, Bennie Jean Futrell, Thelma McCool and Herbert Floyd Parton.
He is survived by: his wife Florene Parton of Glenwood; his daughters-in-law, Bart Parton of Glenwood, Brent Parton, Sherry Parton of Texarkana, Brock Parton and Tammy Parton of Glenwood; and his grandchildren, Amber, Krystal, Derrick, Brittany, Joshua and Haley. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members; and a host of wonderful friends.
