She was predeceased by: her parents, Stewart Garrett and Mattie Holcomb Garrett; her children, Vernon Cogburn, Junior Cogburn, Steve Cogburn, Cynthia Cogburn and Diana Mathis; and her siblings, Milton, Glen, Charlie, James, Winston, Madie, Vera and Daisy.
She is survived by: her daughters, LaVada Morgan of Hot Springs and Lisa Shaw (Tim Purifoy) of Fargo; and her sister-in-law Patricia Garrett of Nashville. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother.
