He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul D. Lindy and Elsie Hill Lindy; his daughter Kathy Crippin; and his siblings, Burkee Lindy and Mary Weaver.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lindy of Glenwood; his daughters, Holly (Gary Alexander), Shea Rinehart of Choudrant, Erica (Stephen D'Addario) and Kerry Cates of Ruston, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Nikki Rankin, Cash Murray, Zoie Holstead, Mac D'Addario, Dom D'Addario and Rowan Cates; his sister Margie Butler of Texas; his caregiver Natasha; and his close friend Robert Shaw. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the local Glenwood Church of Christ, who many of its members sat with Freddie and provided love and comfort.
