Carpenter of Glenwood, Arkansas, born in Amity, Arkansas, who passed away on January 17, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy Ellis Howell and Emma Elizabeth Kirkpatrick Howell; her husband H. G. "Junior" Carpenter; her siblings, Coy Howell, Jr. and Bonnie Ashley; and her brother-in-law Kenneth Thornton.
She is survived by: her children, Mike (Ann Carpenter), Grady (Tammy Carpenter) and Amber (Ron Courteaux); her grandchildren, Brandon Carpenter (Ella), Nicole Carpenter, Coy Carpenter, Zack Courteaux and Aurora Courteaux; her sister Floy Mae Thornton of Glenwood; her brother-in-law Bobby Ashley of Hartselle, Alabama; and her friend Betty Ashley of Glenwood. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
