He is survived by: his wife Mary Plyler of Glenwood; his children, Gail Patterson of Texarkana, Texas and Carl Stephen; his daughter-in-law Julie Plyler of Glenwood; his grandchildren, Amanda Patterson, Kaleb Patterson, Emily Tapley (Bryan) and Stephen Plyler; and his great grandchild Tristan Tapley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
