He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Frank Graves, Sr. and Estelle Ryals Graves; his siblings, Roy Frank Graves, Jr., Ralph Graves and Earlene Graves Moyer; his son Artis Gene Graves; his grandson Micah Graves; his daughters-in-law, Brenda Graves and Donna Graves; and his granddaughter-in-law Alicia Graves.
He is survived by: his wife Allie Mae Graves of Glenwood; his sons, Gary Lee Graves of Glenwood and Terry Michael of Glenwood; his daughters-in-law, Mona Graves of Glenwood, Shawna Graves of Amity and Denise Chamberlin of Hollywood; his sister Carol Jean Mathis of Poyen; his sisters-in-law, Effie Romero (Red) of Taos and Dorlas Graves of Kalama, Washington; and his grandchildren, Mathew Graves, Sunny Herman (Mitch), AubryAnn Reynolds, Mariko Wiles (Brent), Bobby Graves (Brandi), Cassandra Graves, Liz Jackson (Caleb), Paul Burns, Jr. (Ceirra) and Shayna Knoll (Tim). He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
