She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Monroe and Cynthia Myrtle Guthrie Watkins; her former husband Herb Haarmeyer; her siblings, Ray, Charles, Allen, Bill, Orval, James Watkins, Dorris Serratt, Loraine Hitch and Geneva Watkins; and her son-in-law Dude Mitchell.
She is survived by: her husband Herbert Arthur Haarmeyer; her children, Jerral (Lynda Haarmeyer), David (Brenda Haarmeyer), Herbie (Kathy Haarmeyer), Jason Haarmeyer of Oklahoma, Cindy Riley of Gillham and Kimberly (Michael Thompkins); her sister Mary Sue Thornhill of Sherman, Texas; and her sisters-in-law, Carol Watkins of Gillham, Betty Watkins of Roanoke and Diane Watkins of Carlsbad. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
